Road to Nordic: Apply for free conference passes for Nordic Game Conference

Nordic Game Conference is coming up on May 26-28 with a three-days online program and many opportunities to network. Gamecity Hamburg provides a number of free tickets to Hamburg game studios, developers, publishers and students. Apply until May 16!

Note: This is a past event. Read our short recap of the Road to Nordic program & Nordic Game Conference May 2021 here.

The Nordic Game Conference is one of the leading game conferences in Europe, held in Malmö, Sweden. This year, the conference will again take place fully digital with its Spring Edition on May 26-28 and a fall edition in November.

The conference will feature talks and panels by international industry experts like Mikael Kasurinen and Brooke Maggs (both from Remedy Entertainment), Tom Heaton (Supermassive Games), Geoffrey Zatkin (Extra Credits) or Jesper Juul (Royal Danish Academy). Also, there will be a digital Publisher Market, where pitch-ready development teams can meet investors and publishers and a wide host of networking and social events on the conference’s Discord server. For more details on the extensive program, please visit Nordic Game’s website

Info: Applications for this program are closed.

All applications will be reviewed by a jury. We will get back to you on whether you will be part of the delegation for the Nordic Game Conference by May 17.

Please note: If you want to pitch your game to publishers and investors on the online Publisher Market, please apply for a Premium Pass with us. Once you’re getting granted a seat in the Gamecity Hamburg delegation, you can submit a separate registration with the Publisher Market organizers as they have certain criteria set out you have to meet (e.g. having a playable demo available). This separate application will have to be completed by May 18 EOD, so please make sure to check your e-mails on May 17 to not miss this opportunity.

You can also apply for a Studio Pass if you’re a student in a games related field – we will gladly consider your application if we have free seats on the delegation.

Companies and solo-entrepreneurs are eligible to apply if they have their headquarter or a branch office in Hamburg.

Overview of packages you can apply for:

For delegation members granted a Premium Pass:

  • Pitch your game to publishers and investors: Nomination for the online Publisher Market (if you meet the requirements set for the publisher market)
