We are looking forward to two great conference days that will provide valuable insights and networking opportunities. With our Road to HGC program, Hamburg-based indie studios can present their games and match with potential partners as well as present their first releases to the conference audience.

These are the seven games at HGC 2024:

Osmotic Studios – Closer the Distance

Play as Angela in this emotional game.

In this slice-of-life simulation, Osmotic Studios tells an emotional story about loss, family, and friendship. You take on the role of Angela, who accompanies her family and friends after her own death. The highlight - the game combines life simulation with immersive storytelling.

Pipapo Games – Map Map A Game about Maps

Find out more about the island as you explore.

Fresh from the Games Lift Incubator 2023, Pipapo Games presents their lovingly designed cozy exploration game in which players explore unknown islands as cartographers, mapping and designing the islands one by one.

Impawsible Games - Ninja Brigade feat. Jonah Weingarten

Battle your way out of the different levels to make your way home.

In this action-packed Metroidvania, you will be drawn into the world of feudal Japan as the hero "musician Jonah Weingarten", where you will overcome mystical enemies as well as challenging platforming levels, with a groovy soundtrack!

Godcomplex Games -Stack’em Up

Ready for slime enemies?

Get ready for the crazy multiplayer action party game against and sometimes even with each other. By fighting and sucking in slime enemies, you'll gain their special abilities that you can "stack" and combine to fight your way through the colorful world as effectively and creatively as possible.

Bagpack Games – We the Valarii

Race down the mountain to fight against the infestation.

You are the Valarii, a tribe that races down an ancient mountain path in the world of Mithem with very special movement mechanics to save the world from a threatening infestation. Play alone or as a couch co-op with your friends.

Markus Koepke – Journey Beyond the Edge of the World

You have to listen very closely in this adventure game.

In this atmospheric puzzle-adventure game, you find yourself on an abandoned ship in the middle of the ocean. You explore the secrets and the past, solve puzzles, and discover the story through narrative music elements.

About Cannons +  Sparrows – About Cannons &  Sparrows

A little canon makes her way through the forest.

You play as a small cannon hatched from an egg, traveling through the forest, learning new skills, making friends, and uncovering their true potential in this fast-paced and cinematic Metroidvania.
