PLAY21 - Restart Together

PLAY21 returns from November 5 until November 13 under the motto "Restart Together". Find out more about the program and concept.

Hamburg's Gaming festival returns once again. PLAY offers a wide variety of events and workshops for all ages since 2008. This year's edition runs under the motto of "Restart Together" and is taking place as a hybrid model. The audience can attend in-person events in Hamburg or visit the virtual festival location PLAYvalley, which opens up the festival beyond the city borders.

The PLAY festival has always been a unique mix of gaming, education and discussion, striving to combine multiple media disciplines. Consequently, this year's program offers interactive exhibitions, talks and workshops, open for all. There will also be a ceremony on the closing night, during which the Creative Gaming Awards in the categories "Most Creative Game" and  "Most Innovative Newcomer" will be awarded.

Gamecity Hamburg supports the PLAY Festival as a sponsor. Also, we feature the nominee games of the Creative Gaming Award and more activities on our own interacitve platform, the Gamecity Online Hub.
