4 Hamburg Games nominated for German Developer Award 2023
The Deutscher Entwicklerpreis (German Developer Award) 2023 has announced its nominees. With SIGNALIS, EVERSPACE 2, Marble Maze and Misgiven 4 Hamburg games have been shortlisted.
The Deutscher Entwicklerpreis (German Developer Award) 2023 has announced its nominees - with games from Hamburg represented in several categories. While SIGNALIS (rose-engine) is competing in the categories "Best Indie Game", "Best Graphics" and "Best Story", EVERSPACE 2 (ROCKFISH Games) has been nominated for "Best Game Design" and "Best Technical Achievement" and Marble Maze (Fox-Assembly) for "Innovation Award". Misgiven (Symmetry Break Studio), and a graduate from our Games Lift Program, was also nominated for the Ubisoft Newcomer Award.
About the Deutscher Entwicklerpreis (German Developer Award)
The Deutscher Entwicklerpreis (German Developer Award) 2023 will take place on December 7 in Cologne, Germany. This award honours outstanding achievements in the development process of the GAS region. The winners are chosen by a jury of developers and peers.
The German Developer Award has been presented since 2004 for the development of outstanding video and computer games from German-speaking countries, making it the biggest award for the best games from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The prize has been organized by games.nrw e.V. since 2022. The German Developer Award is supported by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, the city of Cologne, the Film und Medienstiftung NRW and game - Verband der deutschen Games-Branche e.V.
