From Prototype Funding to a Publishing Deal: Tiny Roar and Daedalic Entertainment partner up for Wanderful

A partnership forged in Hamburg: after receiving 80,000 € in prototype funding for their cozy worldbuilder (then called HEXAGONE) from Gamecity Hamburg, Tiny Roar just announced the game will now go by the name Wanderful and is being published by Daedalic Entertainment! An early build also premiered at the new Polaris convention on the last weekend of October. Here's all you need to know about this upcoming indie darling from Hamburg.

Just after publishing the action-adventure XEL earlier this year, Tiny Roar is hard at work with their new project, Wanderful. After an internal pitch by one of their artists at the beginning of the year, they convinced the jury of the Prototype Funding committee in spring and secured 80,000 € of funding for the development of their prototype. At the end of October, Tiny Roar announced their new partnership with Daedalic Entertainment, which will publish Wanderful and has already exhibited an early build at their booth at the Polaris Convention.

Wanderful is a charming and cosy worldbuilding game, in which the player places tiles to explore a procedurally generated world and uncover new stories. The goal is to guide a tiny explorer through the world and create and uncover adventures by placing different tiles and collecting new ones. Reach a new high score in sessions ranging from 5 to 30 minutes. The game captivates the player with its dreamy soundtrack and picturesque graphics, which invite them to slow down and observe this diorama.

Wanderful will have a Steam Early Access release, where you can wishlist the game now. Follow Tiny Roar and Daedalic Entertainment on Twitter for further updates.
