Das bringt das neue Exozet Lab Hamburg!

Berlin goes Hamburg! Die Hauptstadtagentur Exozet hat sich mit den Hamburger Pop Rockets zusammengetan und das neue Exozet Labs Hamburg gegründet. Grund genug für Gamecity Hamburg, nicht nur zu gratulieren, sondern auch nachzufragen, was Hamburg und die Welt von dem neuen Projekt zu erwarten haben.

Welchen Hintergrund hat die Gründung des Exozet Labs Hamburg, was versprecht ihr euch konkret davon?

Im Exozet Lab Hamburg dreht sich alles um den Einsatz von ressourcensparenden und effektiven Methoden, um digitale Lösungen zu entwickeln. Dazu gehören zum Beispiel Design Sprints und Creative Prototyping. Jede Branche wird inzwischen von der Welle der Digitalisierung verändert. Neue Mitbewerber erscheinen am Markt und neue Produkte und Services entstehen in Rekordzeit. Diese Entwicklung hat gerade erst so richtig begonnen und gewinnt exponentiell an Fahrt. Da heißt es, schnell sein, um auch in Zukunft erfolgreich zu sein.  

Deshalb konzentrieren wir uns in unserem neuen Hamburger Lab darauf, innerhalb kürzester Zeit und sehr zielgerichtet neue Ideen zu entwickeln und zu testen. Dabei setzen wir auf sogenannte Co-Creation-Methoden: Das heißt, wir kombinieren das Markt- und Produkt-Know-how unserer Kunden mit unserer Digitalexpertise aus 20 Jahren Digitalagentur-Geschäft. In verschiedenen Workshop-Formaten sind wir so in der Lage, einen Prototypen sogar schon in einer Woche zu entwickeln und am Endkunden zu testen.

Darüber hinaus begleiten wir unsere Kunden in der Weiterentwicklung der Ideen und arbeiten diese in MVPs (Minimal Viable Products) aus. Um unsere Projekte optimal zu betreuen, arbeiten wir übrigens Hand in Hand mit unseren mehr als 150 Berliner Kollegen.

Für welche Projekte seht ihr euch als besonders kompetent an, sprich, welcher Kunde mit welcher Idee ist bei euch am besten aufgehoben?

Unsere Methoden eignen sich tatsächlich  für jede Art von Projekt - Hauptsache digital! Wir haben sie bereits im Bereich Automotive, Medien oder auch im Umweltschutz erfolgreich eingesetzt. Unsere Kunden bestätigen unsere Erfahrungen. Die übliche Reaktion dazu ist: “Danke für den 5-tägigen Design Sprint. Für dieses Ergebnis hätten wir normalerweise Monate benötigt …”

Wird das voraussichtlich neue Jobs in Hamburgs Gamesbranche bringen und falls ja, wie viele?

Das Exozet Lab Hamburg ist gerade neu gegründet worden. Wir haben uns aber für 2018 schon ein klares Ziel gesetzt: Wir wollen wachsen! Unser Hamburger Team besteht bereits aus “Veteranen” der Hamburger Gamesbranche. Unsere Expertise aus Games-Projekten ist bei unserer Arbeit ein großer Vorteil: Wir sind extrem gut darin, Lösungen für verschiedenartige Herausforderungen zu erstellen – in Rekordzeit, out of the box gedacht und mithilfe unseres Know-hows von Games-Technologien. Deshalb verstärken wir uns für unsere Projekte regelmäßig mit unseren guten Freunden aus der Hamburger Gamesbranche.

Gibt es bereits Projekte, über die du sprechen darfst/möchtest?

Wir haben zum Beispiel eine superspannende multisensorische VR Experience für Audi entwickelt, die für den neuen Next Reality Contest nominiert wurde. Auch für die  Gothaer konnten wir zum Beispiel im Co-Creation-Prozess eine Idee erarbeiten, die wir zurzeit auch umsetzen. Am Hamburger Standort entwickeln wir gerade eine Mobile App, die das Ergebnis einer unserer Design Sprints war – vor Veröffentlichung dürfen wir jedoch leider nicht über Kunde und Projekt sprechen.
