Codename "Polaris": Major new gaming event in Hamburg
This year, gaming is to become an even more visible crowd puller in Hamburg: For October 28-30, 2022, three partners from Hamburg announce a community fair around gaming, Japanese pop culture and e-sports in the Hamburg exhibition halls.
The joint project of the Hamburg event agency Super Crowd Entertainment, the Hamburg Messe und Congress and the gaming house RCADIA is currently still running under the code name "Polaris", for the announcement of the final name and other details, a countdown is running since today on the website of the organizers. The event will take place as a large public event in the Hamburg exhibition halls.
Numerous key players and artists from the fields of gaming, e-sports, cosplay and content creation are to come on board as supporters and contributors to the planned community fair, including, for example, Mikkel Robrahn from Friendly Fire and video journalist Stephan Freuendorfer, who are already supporting the planning.
The event in October is planned as a hybrid event: the community fair as an on-site event in Hamburg is to become a gamified hybrid experience through an additional mobile app and a streaming show.
Wolf Lang, CEO of Super Crowd Entertainment says: "With 'Polaris' we plan to implement the most technically advanced and entertaining hybrid trade fair in Europe. As No.1 in the digital entertainment trade show business and with many years of experience in the physical trade show business, we can't think of better partners than Hamburg Messe Und Congress and RCADIA to make this event a unique gaming spectacle."
