Update your company’s profile on gamesmap.de

On gamesmap.de the German industry association "game" provides an interesting and useful overview of the German games industry and related fields. Help them keep it up-to-date by checking your organization’s entry and submitting an update if needed. Deadline is April 23.

Gaining an overview of the games industry or finding correct contact information of possible business partners can be quite a hassle.
Germany’s game industry association game provides just the right tool for that: gamesmap.de is a neatly organized directory of companies and organizations in the games industry and related fields. For Hamburg gamesmap.de features over 200 entries of game studios, indie developers, publishers, audio engineers, universities and many more.

In addition to providing a very useful industry overview for anyone interested, gamesmap.de also helps game to provide up-to-date industry statistics for their political and public communication on behalf of the industry. Especially the count of people employed in the games sector is very important in that context.

And right now, it’s spring-cleaning time! Gamesmap.de is running a major update of their company database and asks everyone who is listed (or wants to be listed) to check their profiles for outdated information.
Deadline for updates is April 23.

This is how you can help:

  • Find your company’s profile on the map, check your entry by clicking "Alle Details", follow the link "Änderungen vorschlagen" on the right and request an update if you spot any inaccurate information. Please pay special attention to the section "Mitarbeiterzahlen" (number of employees) in the form.
  • If your company or organization is not listed on gamesmap.de yet, just let them know by filling out this form: https://www.gamesmap.de/firma-melden. Your entry will be added soon after.

Of course, your listing on gamesmap.de will be free of charge.

Also, the number of employees will not be displayed publicly on gamesmap.de on company-level, if you don’t want to disclose this information. They aggregate the employee counts for regions and categories.
