The Gamecity Online Hub: Hamburg's games industry as a browser game

On May 6, the first version of the Gamecity Online Hub opens its digital doors. Explore the multi-faceted network of Hamburg's games industry as a playable browser game in an authentic Hamburg setting.

To learn more about the diverse games industry ecosystem, visitors can move freely as avatars at the Gamecity Online Hub through digital versions of the Harbor of Hamburg, St. Pauli, the Stadtpark, and the Speicherstadt. They can explore the game world and interact via chat.

Visit the Harbor at the digital Mini-Hamburg

More than 30 game companies and educational institutions present themselves on the platform. Users will find information, presentations of games, and opportunities for contact and exchange in open video calls.

In our virtual Gamecity Hamburg HQ on the Online Hub, we also present insights about our programs Games Lift and the Prototype funding and showcase the games that Hamburg teams are successfully developing with the help of funding and mentoring programs.

The night life of St. Pauli at the Online Hub

Throughout 2021, the Gamecity Online Hub will expand and change. There will always be new things to discover, so don't forget to check by regularly.
In addition, we will use the platform for events and get-togethers, then with additional interaction features, such as 1:1 video calls between users embedded in the Online Hub.

The Gamecity Online Hub is only made possible in this form thanks to the cooperation with the Hamburg-based company Super Crowd Entertainment, which developed the technical platform, and the financial support of the companies represented on the Online Hub.

A Registration is not necessary.

Gamecity Online Hub is a project by Gamecity Hamburg with special support of our partners Super Crowd Entertainment, InnoGames, Tivola, Bytro, 4Players and many more.
