Industry Hearing: Games - Results and Outlook
At the first Industry Hearing: Games, we discussed the current challenges in the games industry and support in Hamburg.
On October 15, at our first Industry Hearing: Games, we discussed the current challenges in the games industry and support in Hamburg. We thank all participants for their active cooperation and valuable impulses and ideas, which were intensively discussed in the plenum and workshop groups.
Founders and newcomer teams articulated the desire for mentoring programs, specific workshop series, as well as the establishment of contacts to potential publishers.
To promote the exchange of experiences, it was suggested to offer cheaper coworking spaces or open spaces and to establish a game hub.
Further impulses were given for a more extensive location marketing, financing and space offers and networking of the training offers in Hamburg.
gamecity:Hamburg is working on an extended offer of the initiative and incorporates the suggestions and ideas into the planning of new formats.
