Hamburg Games Conference 2022: Hybrid approach and new physical location

The Hamburg Games Conference sets course for new markets – with international experts from academia, games industry and public funding institutions as speakers for the hybrid event on March 2 and 3, 2022. A new location was chosen for this year's on-site part in accordance with local regulations.

The Hamburg Games Conference on March 2 and 3 focuses on a on-site part in a new location and an extensive online program: all talks and presentations will be live-streamed on the online platform and will cover the topic of "Moving Markets". The digital conference platform, developed in Hamburg, enables both the exploration of an online themed world with exhibitors and booths as well as networking with other participants via video call. This platform was already a great success during last year's conference, with more than 600 visitors from all over the world.

The on-site part of the conference on March 3 will be moved to the newly opened gaming location "RCADIA" in Hamburg-Bergedorf. Here the focus will be on networking, matchmaking and roundtables. According to the current 2G-Plus guidelines, a maximum of 200 business guests can attend on site. Business ticket holders can visit the online platform on both days and visit the RCADIA on March 3. In addition, they can schedule both on- and offline meetings via the digital matchmaking system MeetToMatch. Business tickets are available for 199€ until March 1. Get your ticket here.

The topic "Moving Markets" will be explored by a variety of industry experts during two days of talks and panels, who will also dicsuss ideas from the audience during the Q&As. This entire part of the program will be streamed online and be accessible to both business tickets and basic tickets holders. All confirmed speakers can be viewed at the Hamburg Games Conference website

We're looking forward to seeing you aboard and in person again!
