Computerspieleförderung des Bundes - Interessensbekundungen ab sofort möglich

Um die benötigten Volumen für die neue Gamesförderung des Bundes abschätzen zu können, können kleine bis mittlere Unternehmen (KMUs) bis zum 03. Juni eine Interessensbekundung abgeben. Die Bewerbungsfrist für die Förderung läuft vom 03. Juni bis zum 30. August '19.

Wie im Februar 2018 im Koalitionsvertrag zwischen CDU/CSU und SPD vereinbart wurde, wird es eine Computerspieleförderung des Bundes geben.

Im ersten Schritt sollen kleine bis mittlere Unternehmen gefördert werden. Dabei sind sowohl Prototypen als auch Spieleproduktionen förderwürdig. Der Zuschuss darf dabei 200.000€ in drei Kalenderjahren nicht überschreiten. Bis zu 50% der gesamten Produktionssumme können dabei übernommen werden. Um insbesondere kleine Unternehmen und Start-Ups zu unterstützen, können diese zusätzlich noch einen Bonus von bis zu 20% bekommen, also insgesamt bis zu 70% der Produktionskosten.

Erst einmal können Entwickler bis zum 03. Juni über dieses Formular ihr Interesse an der Förderung bekunden. Dadurch möchte das Verkehrsministerium (BMVI) die benötigten Volumen für die Förderung besser abschätzen können. Ab dem 03. Juni und bis zum 30. August können sie sich dann offiziell für die Förderung bewerben. Dabei gelten die vom BMVI veröffentlichten Förderrichtlinien.
