Application Start for Games Lift Incubator 2023

Developer teams can now apply from May 2 until June 20 for our Games Lift Incubator. This is their chance to get professional input on their game ideas and to successfully develop and market their game projects.

All indie game developers who have a great idea for a game but are still missing professional input and insights can now apply for the Games Lift Incubator 2023!

The Incubator program is tailored to the needs of start-ups, indie devs and SMEs who want to bring their game project to the next level. Up to five teams can take part in the incubator.

The application phase runs from May 2 until June 20!

Mentoring
Coaching
Expense allowance of 15,000 euro
Networking
Working in an office in Hamburg's HafenCity

and so much more.

Who can apply? All kinds of developer teams, from students to start-ups to founded companies (SME) or natural persons. The project has to be a game but it can be in any stage from concept to pre-release.

School Internship Games 2024: Hands-on Video Game Development

During the Games internship, 17 Hamburg school students - 9 girls and 8 boys - were able to get a taste of real game developer life from June 24 to July 12. During the three-week internship, they gained insights into various Hamburg games companies and developed a game from their own ideas at the end.

Road to Polaris 2024 - Apply until August 25

The community convention Polaris takes place on October 11-13 with a three-day program including gaming, e-sports, anime and manga, cosplay, and content creation. Gamecity Hamburg provides free booth packages for Hamburg-based developers, teams, and studios. Applications are open until August 25!
