Founded in June 2009 in Hamburg, the studio landed a real hit right away with its first title, Shakes & Fidget. The game, which is available for browsers, Steam, Android, and iOS, now has over 70 million registered players. To celebrate the 12th birthday of the studio and the award-winning comic MMORPG, Playa Games has come up with a lot of actions, check it out on their website.
To celebrate, a special Twitch stream with host m3lly will start on Friday, June 25 from 5:30 p.m., celebrating the launch of a new dungeon, auctioning off a first edition of the Collector's Edition, and more. The whole thing will be coupled with a telethon for the non-profit organization Gaming Aid, to which the proceeds of the Twitch channel and the proceeds of the auction will go.
