Based in Hamburg’s city center, we are an innovative and driven team of over 70 people drawn from around the world. Currently, we have over 20 different nationalities on our team – a truly international atmosphere. We strive to develop high-quality strategy games every day and make them accessible for all players around the world. In our eyes game development is a promise for fun and entertainment – that’s what we live and aim for. Our games are enjoyed by more than 15 million people – which is basically six times the city of Hamburg! – in 150 countries and 13 languages.

2022 war ein spannendes Jahr für uns bei Gamecity Hamburg: nach knapp zwei Jahren konnten wir uns endlich wieder auf Präsenz-Events treffen, Hamburg ist Heimat einer neue Convention geworden, wir konnten zahlreiche neue, großartige Projekte in unseren Förderprogrammen unterstützen und noch einiges mehr. Drei Fragen an: Die Elbphilharmonie über ihr neues Online Escape Game

Die Elbphilharmonie hat kürzlich ihr erstes Spiel veröffentlicht - ja, richtig gelesen: Gemeinsam mit der Hamburger Digitalagentur Pop Rocket Labs hat das Konzerthaus ein Online-Escape-Game entwickelt, bei dem die Spielenden durch das Lösen von Rätseln ein klassisches Konzert retten müssen. Wir haben mit Julika von Werder aus dem Marketing-Team der Elbphilharmonie über die Hintergründe des Projekts gesprochen.
