Mambio can be used independently by elementary school children with and without disabilities. The learning software combines classic learning methods and new developments from research to provide children with mathematics lessons specifically designed for them.
Individual and playful
Every new start of Mambio initiates a new learning session with a defined start and ending. Mathematical tasks are embedded in a storyline and solved by the child. After successfully completing a task the story progresses and further tasks are presented. Mambio differs from other games in that children are presented with learning content that is tailored to their needs and conveyed to them in an appropriate and comprehensible manner. The game is based on the newest scientific findings on neurodiversity; different learning approaches and abilities to perceive information influence speed and depiction of the tasks. The learning app is aimed at all children, regardless of possible mathematical learning difficulties.
The Team
neurodactics GmbH was founded in Hamburg at the end of 2021. The co-founders Christopher Hof, Jonas Vierth and Dr. phil. des. Torben Rieckmann complement each other in an interdisciplinary way in the areas of development, finance and research. Mambio emerges from previous research and development of the award-winning mathildr system and aims to utilize the possibilities of digitality for mathematics education.
