The history of the Global Game Jam is a success story in the books: Already at the premiere in 2009, more than 1,500 game enthusiasts from over 20 countries took part. In 2022, there were already more than 33,000 from 100 countries, who together developed almost 6,000 games. ​

Germany's second-largest game developer is once again inviting aspiring and professional programmers, graphic artists, game and sound designers to a joint time-lapse game development event. On the 1st weekend in February, the time has come. InnoGames will open its office doors for the 9th in-house Global Game Jam from February 3-5, 2023. Those who shy away from traveling to Hamburg can, of course, participate online.
