Gamecity Treff Meets Hamburg Music
Gamecity Treff is back! We have teamed up with Hamburg Music Business, to not only invite the Hamburg games industry but for the very first time also the Hamburg music industry.
The games and music industry in Hamburg already have their touchpoints, but we believe there is more to it. This is why we wanted to tighten the connection between Hamburg’s games and music industries, foster the exchange of knowledge, and create new contacts and business opportunities.
This was the first on-site Gamecity Treff in two years, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. With the “Grüner Jäger” we have found the perfect location to bring games and music together and provide a comfortable and safe environment for all participants.
This Gamecity Treff offered networking opportunities across the two industries. Also, short presentations of the games and music market in Hamburg were held and a business speed dating. Additionally, "ONE PLAYER MODE - Music From The Wonderful World Of Videogames" played.
About the Gamecity Treff:
Gamecity Hamburg’s aim is to improve the general conditions for companies and founders of the games value chain in the city, to support them in their further development and to anchor Hamburg in the public perception as one of the leading games hubs in Europe. At the same time, we promote the exchange of knowledge within the sector and with other industries. The Gamecity Treff started in 2003 (!) as a networking event to bring together Hamburg’s games industry and is still going strong with up to 200 participants per event. These informal events aim to promote the networking and exchange of information within the industry.
