THE INVITATION is a PvEvP loot shooter with a clear goal: maximum player interaction.
Quests in this game are not given by NPCs. They emerge from events, players and the environment, which frequently invite you to new adventures.

The player finds themself in the rundown countryside of Europe's future in 2081. Since an advanced alien civilization has connected humanity to an interstellar transport network, mankind lives in metropolises and enjoys the benefits of the changes after the „Invitation“. But a few people are still living in the outlands and follow their own law. Aliens browse the area. Groups fight for control of essential spots like factories or data centers. As Individuals they fight for loot and their lives.
THE INVITATION will be a game about meaningful interaction and tough decision making.
Each and every mechanic, every single element supports player interaction. Not just a lot of interaction. Also the most intense and a big variety of different kinds of interaction.
The player interaction is being initialized with points of interest. These can reach from skins to equipment or even leaderboard placements. Based on this principle there are various kinds of events that attract players to come closer. Hunt the junk eater down, protect goods from a transport company or team up with players to fight the spore crawler invasion back. There are also locations that offer special options for character customization and special abilities. By attracting different players, these „points of interest“ gently motivate interaction.
To achieve a deeper level of interaction, the players get a strong tool to communicate effectively: Every player can create quests reaching from head hunting to emergency calls or even raids. All this combined leads to a whole new multiplayer experience.
The three founders Martin Kleingräber, Stephen Fuhrmann and Timo Becker have been working together for a couple of years already. Besides university cooperations they also combined their talents in work for clients and various personal projects. Based on their experience in the games industry they bring a lot of expertise and a great network of freelancers.
With THE INVITATION they plan to create the foundation for their company „tool1“. The corporation was founded in march 2020.
The goal is not only to develop unique games. They also developed a new type of corporate culture. Every employee, but also small investors, can get revenue shares.
