Welcome to Cozy Cyberpunk: In Neon Nest you take care of quirky pigeons in a futuristic city that has seen better days. Build your base and shelter for your birds, explore the urban jungle, find and collect useful resources and meet friendly characters!

About the Game
You did everything that was asked of you - and still you lost it all:
Your Job, your Apartment, your prospects.
Everything that made up your life. What is even left?
At rock bottom and without a roof over your head you wander through the desolate streets...until you find a sick pigeon.
This is the beginning of your story in Neon Nest: Much like the city pigeons you are suddenly homeless and all on your own. But soon you notice, that you can help each other out in the big city life!
The city in Neon Nest is permanently altered by climate change. Big parts are flooded, many houses and districts are abandoned. Those, who can afford it, live on the Hills and the large industrial port takes up a lot of space.
On the rooftop of an empty apartment building you rebuild your life, together with your pigeons. They are more useful than you think: When there are lots of pigeons, there is lots of poop - and that is a valuable resource for you. As fertilizer it makes it possible for you to raise crops. Feed your pigeons appropriately and the fertilizer will make your plants grow even better! With your new botanical knowledge you recognize what you need to do: Let the gray concrete of the city shine anew and turn it into a green oasis!
About the Team
Friederike Fröhlich, also called “That One with the Hat”, is a creative generalist with over 8 years of experience in areas such as 3D design, web development oder video editing. Through her studies in Media Systems at the HAW Hamburg, she was able to add game development to this list and work together with many talented people. Now she is working for Neon Nest for the first time as a solo developer.
She got the idea for her game from the many pigeons that nest under a bridge around the corner from her apartment. Her goal is to create a game that bridges the gap between Cyberpunk and Solarpunk.
