Crumbling is a virtual-reality game where you don't become the player character yourself. Instead, you unwrap it from its blister pack and wield it with your controller as if it was an action figure in your hand. Just like back in the day, or today when nobody's looking. In a frantic action rogue-like you fight through hordes of plastic-toy monsters in meticulously hand-crafted dioramas. You free the Crumblings from the evil grip of Böse Corp. that tries to sell them off as merchandise. In a quiet moment you design dioramas, creating your very own game worlds.
Team Crumbling
After a thorough study of what holds the world together at its core, Ole decided it was time to create worlds of his own. An excursion to web-shop programming turned out to be not quite as exciting as expected and something more thrilling had to be found. A furious Tower-Tag tournament between futuristic robots shooting laser beams at each other, for instance. But his very own world will be one that we all lived in before when we were smashing plastic toys against each other. In order to revive this fantasy, it takes talented artists. Together they form Team Crumbling and bring back the toys!
