Showcase for games from Germany: Applications for Games Germany Steam Sale 2026 now open

Developers, studios, and publishers based in Germany can now apply to participate in the Steam Sale until March 31, 2026. Organized and curated by Games Germany – the association of German game funding agencies and network institutions. Applications are also open for an accompanying showcase on Steam, YouTube, and Twitch.
Hamburg, March 3, 2026: Games Germany – the association of German game development funding agencies and networking institutions – is organizing a Steam sale in the summer of 2026. Developers, studios, and publishers headquartered in Germany are welcome to apply.
The sale focuses on the wide diversity of German games, supports their sales, and ensures international reach. Up to 360 games have participated in each of the Steam sales since 2022. This year, a broad range of games developed in Germany is expected to participate once again.
In addition, a showcase in collaboration with national and international media partners on Steam, YouTube, and Twitch will accompany the sale, featuring exclusive premieres, updates, announcements, and gameplay trailers, which will offer additional visibility for the games. Games Germany is once again collaborating with nerdstar to produce the showcase.
Companies and studios can also apply for the showcase until March 31.
The application deadlines end on March 31, 2026, at 11:59 pm.
