Road to Polaris 2026 - Apply until July 28

The community convention Polaris takes place on October 9-11 with a three-day program including gaming, anime and manga, cosplay, and content creation. Gamecity Hamburg provides free booth packages for Hamburg-based developers, teams, and studios. Join us to get valuable feedback and visibility for your game. Applications are open until July 28.

In October, Polaris will connect communities centered around esports, gaming, and Asian pop culture. Exhibitors will include merchants, artists and developers, and there will be stage shows, competitions, creator meetups, and workshops.

Gamecity Hamburg offers free places at a Hamburg joint booth at Polaris 2026.

Studios and game developers can now apply until July 28.

With our Road to Polaris program, Gamecity Hamburg offers a free booth including:

  • Spot at Gamecity Hamburg joint booth
  • Necessary Hardware
  • Exhibitor Ticket 
  • USK clearing
  • Preparatory workshop with Gamecity Hamburg

How can you apply?

All applications will be reviewed. We will get back to you on whether you will be part of our joint booth for Polaris as soon as possible after the end of submissions on July 28. 

Who can apply?

  • The game developer/game company must be from Hamburg, commercially oriented and belong to the games industry.
  • The headquarters or branch office of the applicant must be located in Hamburg.
  • A playable version of the submitted game and a trailer must be available for Polaris 2026.
  • The game developer/game company must be present as exhibitors on all three days from October 9-11.
  • There must be a Steam Page for the project by the time the Polaris takes place 

NEW regulations for Participation in 2026: 

  • Please be aware that not more than two participations per game per event will be possible in our "Road to programs" in the future
  • This rule will be in effect starting with Road to Polaris 2026
  • If your game has participated in the Road to Polaris program before, your past participations do not count toward this number. You can technically participate two more times.
