Press Start: Games start-up Scholarship for German developers starts
From October 28 to November 17, German developers and studios can apply for the Games start-up Scholarship to build their game studio.
Attention start-ups: Starting this year, the "Press Start: Games start-up scholarship" will support up to 130 game developers in establishing their studios. The application period runs from October 28 to November 17, 2024.
These are the details:
- 18-month program including workshops and coaching
- Over 2,750 euros per month
- Education and networking program
- For applicants who have founded a studio in the last 18 months or plan to do so in the near future
The scholarship is run by game - German Games Industry Association in cooperation with the Digital Games Culture Foundation (Stiftung Digitale Spielekultur), financed and commissioned by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media.
The Minister of State for Culture is providing a total of around 8 million euros for the start-up scholarship program
