Portside Game Assembly: Ticket sales for brunch and party launched

With Portside Game Assembly, Gamecity Hamburg is welcoming studio heads and directors from successful indie game studios on a conference ship and other extraordinary locations in Hamburg on June 27, 2025. More participating studios are announced and the ticket sale for all events has started.

Benjamin Laulan, Co-Founder of Evil Empire, (Dead Cells, The Rogue Prince of Persia) will give a keynote on the Triple-i Initiative started by the French studio. Further speaker on board is Philomena Schwab, Founder of Stray Fawn Studio (Dungeon Clawler, The Wandering Village). In addition to tickets for the entire conference, tickets for the networking brunch in the morning and the Games Industry Party in the evening are now available: https://portsideassembly.com/.

Ticket sales for Brunch and Party now open

The Networking Brunch starts on June 27, 2025, at 9:30 am at the “Alte Liebe” restaurant in Hamburg's HafenCity. A ticket costs 49 euros plus fees & VAT and the number of tickets is limited. Here, conference participants and brunch guests can exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere and over delicious food.

The Games Industry Party in the evening invites guests to the second extraordinary ship location of the day: the MS Stubnitz in HafenCity. Starting at 7 pm, all conference guests can celebrate the evening with Hamburg's vibrant games scene. Tickets are available now for 15 euros plus fees & VAT.

Registration for the conference

The conference ticket includes access to the Opening Mixer on June 26, as well as the Networking Brunch, the main Conference, and the Games Industry Party on June 27 for a total of 189 euros plus fees & VAT. Registration.

The program for our second edition of our Portside Game Assembly on June 25 & 26 is ready to be announced: Among others, Rebecca Lautner (Landfall, “PEAK”) and Mark Cooke (Shiny Shoe, “Monster Train”) will speak about the development of their hit titles. The conference program, which is targeted at established indie studios, focuses on fostering exchange among studio heads and founders through short talks and roundtables.

Games Lift 2026: Apply now from April 27 until June 1

You can now apply for Gamecity Hamburg's 2026 Games Lift from April 27 to June 1. Five teams will receive financial support in form of 15,000 euros, a comprehensive workshop program and individual mentoring. In addition, the teams can benefit from 1,000 euros in coaching budget. After a three-month workshop phase, the teams will be further supported with individual mentoring and will travel together to an international industry event until August 2027.
