Meet the four indie teams from Hamburg
Mooneye Studios - IKUMA: The Frozen Compass

Mooneye Studios, founded in 2014, are an indie developer and publisher, who focus on narrative-driven indie games like "Lost Ember", and publish cozy games like Haven Park, Smushi Come Home or Farewell North.
To gamescom, they will bring their new game IKUMA: The Frozen Compass: An emotional Coop-Exploration-Adventure, set in 1864 on an uncharted island in the Arctic. The players play Cabin boy Sam and his loyal husky Ellie, who are stranded in the unforgiven cold. They have to endure the harsh elements, uncover the mystery of the island, and find their way home and even to themselves. The players have to forage for food, explore the island, use the tools they gather, brave the cold, and decide to play side by side with a friend or use the characters' different skills to advance the story.
Tiny Roar - Lou's Lagoon

Tiny Roar, founded in 2015, are an indie studio from Hamburg who have already launched a couple of fun indie games like "Into the Emberlands" or "Bomb Bots Arena", and have grown into a team of about 30 employees.
Lou's Lagoon is a cozy open world adventure set in the vibrant tropical Limbo Archipelago, with life sim elements. The character's uncle Lou has vanished, leaving the players in charge of his seaplane delivery service. The players have to fly to and explore the different islands, harvest resources, advance their crafting skills, grow their business, decorate their home, and discover the family mystery.
Wetterfest - Frisia - Tales & Tides

Wetterfest is an indie developer based in Hamburg, who took part in our Games Lift Incubator 2024, and is working on his first game "Frisia - Tales & Tides". In this strategy and island-building game, the players settle on lonely islands in the rough climate of the North Sea, set in the 19th century. The task is to build up villages in harmony with the tides, set up production chains, supply the villagers, upgrade the ships and venture out to discover secrets, more resources, and new islands to settle on.
ThinMatrix - Homegrown

ThinMatrix is a studio by solo dev Karl Wimble, creating nature-related games in a self-made engine with a low-poly 3D style. He has shared his journey on YouTube for over ten years in 270+ devlogs.
HomeGrown is a casual farming game with minimalistic clicker-style mechanics. The players grow produce in their garden, sell it in the local town, choose strategically from many upgrades to scale up the production. They work their way up from a few backyard vegetable beds to a giant sprawling farm - one satisfying click at a time.
