Application start for Creative Europe Video Games and Immersive Content Development

Companies and studios can apply until February 12, 2025 for the funding for the development of narrative games and interactive projects by Creative Europe.

Companies and studios have until February 12, 2025 to apply for the development of narrative games and interactive projects. Creative Europe is providing a total budget of seven million euros for this purpose.

What will be funded?

  • Development of narrative games and immersive interactive projects & prototypes
  • Either “First Playable Prototype” or “First Trial Version”, depending on what will be produced first

Who can apply?

  • European companies with the corporate purpose of producing games / audiovisual content / XR
  • Applicants must present at least one reference project that was commercially exploited internationally between January 1, 2021 and the submission deadline (verifiable by means of a sales report)
  • The reference project does not have to be narrative

How much is funded?

  • Up to 200,000 euros
  • Maximum 60% of the eligible costs

Application period: October 1,  2024 - February 12,2025.

Start of possible funding: November 2025.
