The event kicks off at 7 pm when two selected indie titles will be played live on the cinema screen and presented in a moderated interview format by journalist and podcaster Dom Schott together with the developers – offering exciting insights into the development and the minds behind the games. There will also be plenty of opportunity for discussion and, of course, the chance to discover new indie gems. Afterwards, there will be an informal networking event in the foyer for all those who wish.

Pixel & Popcorn is organized by NERDIC and Gamecity Hamburg as part of the KinoGames project.

In Aethermancer by moi rai games players fight their way through the procedurally generated Fractured Ruins in the world Terastae alongside mythical monsters, who defied the virtues of this world and are trapped in a cycle of death and rebirth. In the game, the players build powerful teams of monsters for challenging turn-based battles, using four elements of the „Aether“ to win and find out more about the world, the monsters and the fractured ruins.

The Regreening by Positive Impact Games is a cozy nature restoration simulation game inspired by real world projects. As the last human on the planet, plant seeds to restore biomes, mend friendships with folklore animals, and bring back life to the Earth. The game is a twist on the classic cozy farming simulation game that puts the player in a position of having a positive rather than exploitative role in their environment.
