Pixel & Popcorn: Indie Games on Screen 2026

Pixel & Popcorn is back on track! Want to get insights into the making of indie games made in Hamburg? Join the special evening at the Savoy Filmtheater and learn all about three indie studios from Hamburg and their games on the big screen.

The event kicks off at 7 pm when three selected indie titles will be played live on the cinema screen and presented in a moderated interview format by journalist and podcaster Dom Schott together with the developers – offering exciting insights into the development and the minds behind the games. There will also be plenty of opportunity for discussion and, of course, the chance to discover new indie gems. Afterwards, there will be an informal networking event in the foyer for all those who wish.

Pixel & Popcorn is organized by NERDIC and Gamecity Hamburg as part of the KinoGames project.
