Pixel & Popcorn: Indie Games on Screen 2026

The event kicks off at 7 pm when three selected indie titles will be played live on the cinema screen and presented in a moderated interview format by journalist and podcaster Dom Schott together with the developers – offering exciting insights into the development and the minds behind the games. There will also be plenty of opportunity for discussion and, of course, the chance to discover new indie gems. Afterwards, there will be an informal networking event in the foyer for all those who wish.
Pixel & Popcorn is organized by NERDIC and Gamecity Hamburg as part of the KinoGames project.

MENACE is a tactical, turn‑based sci‑fi RPG by Overhype Studios. Command mercenary squads, unite local factions, and confront a strange threat in distant system. A new strategy game from the Battle Brothers developers.
