The Cross Innovation Class is a student project for more practical experience and cross-industry collaboration.

Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft connects Hamburg companies with students from different universities and from different disciplines (including computer science, product design, smart technology, urban planning, logistics & mobility). The idea: confronted with real-world challenges, students have one semester to develop smart solutions for the city of the future.

From April to July, the students worked in interdisciplinary teams to develop ideas and prototypes on the topic of "Smart City & Urban Tech". At the final presentation, they will show, among other things, solutions for sustainable behavior in office spaces, a fully interconnected bicycle, or how young families in Hamburg can do without their own cars. Afterwards, a jury will select the best prototype. During the award ceremony, the audience will also have the chance to vote for their favorite.

The presentations will be held in German.
